Michelle McCool Speaks Candidly About Controversial “Piggie James” Storyline





Former WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool has gone on record to discuss the controversial “Piggie James” storyline in late 2009.

In a preview for the second part of her tell-all about her time in WWE, Michelle’s official website has uploaded the following clip (see below).

Michelle says that the storyline, which saw her and teammate Layla taunt Mickie James for several months over her weight, was not devised by them, but by WWE. Read more

Michelle McCool Miss Several Divas And More





WWE.com had a recent interview with former Women’s Divas Champion Michelle McCool for a new back to school feature. McCool originally worked as a middle school teacher in Palatka, Florida. She joined WWE in 2004 after participating in the 2004 WWE Diva Search. In her initial on screen role she acted primarily as a personal trainer and occasional wrestler.

Michelle comments on her retirement and what she has been up to since leaving WWE earlier this year as well as what she misses about WWE.

McCool said that her retirement has been wonderful. For the past two weeks she have been visiting her family in Florida laying on the beach for 5 or 6 hours a day. She said that she was missing her family and now she is spending great time at beach and at her home. She really can not complain.

Do She Miss Anything About Being A WWE Diva?

She miss several of the Divas and Superstars but she do keep in contact with them. McCool miss seeing the fans and performing in the ring although her body is doing much better. She have been pretty banged up the past two years but this has allowed her to spend time with family and dear friends that you do not get to do when you’re on the road almost 300 days a year. McCool cherishing these moments right now.

Michelle McCool Confirms She Has Retired from WWE





Michelle McCool, who lost a Loser Leaves WWE match last night at Extreme Rules, is indeed leaving the company, she confirms via Twitter.

The angle served as a very real swansong from WWE for the first ever Divas Champion, who writes:

Thx for the love guys….I know there will always be rumors,but that was it – real talk! @mslayel ….nothing but luv 4 u! Luv u all…nite!

Word of McCool’s WWE exit first leaked online last week.

Michelle, for all intents and purposes, is now retired. Though there’s something to be said about ‘wrestling retirements’ & I’m sure, like Trish Stratus and Lita, we’ll see her in the odd appearance down the line.
